Fun Size Horror is kicking Halloween off early with ScareLA! ScareLA is a Los Angeles based convention geared toward celebrating all things Halloween. Everything from celebrity signings and film screenings, to workshops on filmmaking and how to create your own haunt, can be found at the two day celebration.

This year Fun Size Horror will be participating in the convention in a big way with screenings of some of our best films, conducting a variety of filmmaking classes, and hosting our first ever Fun Size Horror Cosplay Contest where the winner of best original costume will go on to develop an original Fun Size Horror Short based on their creation!

Saturday, August 6th at 2pm in the ScareLA Screening Room.

We’ll be screening five of our favorite Fun Size Horror shorts and having a Q&A with filmmakers!

  • Persephone, Lisa J. Dooley
  • Trust, Jerry Pyle
  • Prey, Stephen Boyer
  • Pillow Fright!, Patrick Rea
  • And They Watched…, Vivian Lin

Since then they have released two feature-length anthology films, as well as launched as a platform for original and submitted horror content. The company has also released select Originals and user submitted films in festivals, screenings, and additional digital marketplaces, helping to establish up-and-coming filmmakers.
