Inspired by the Oscars last night, we wanted to share a vivid and imaginative animated horror short directed and animated by Paul Berry that was nominated for an Academy Award in 1991. 

THE SANDMAN is a chilling interpretation of an old European folktale. This Oscar-nominated short film was conceived, designed and produced by Colin Batty, Paul Berry and Ian Mackinnon.
